william Trubridge breaks the freediving world record without fins with a dive to 88m (288 feet) inin Dean's Blue Hole, Bahamas.
This is so beautiful. Graceful. Peaceful.
It is a remarkable acheivement.
But you know what? William Trubridge had to train himself to do that. It didn't just happen.
One thing I've learned about world-class people, in any field, is that almost all had to get there through a process.
They've pushed themselves that bit further every day. Every week. Every year. Constantly. Setbacks just make them stronger where lesser souls would give up and go to the pub.
Watching this makes me believe I too am capable of pushing myself further. Just a bit each day, until all those bits add up to something remarkable. I know my reallygood thinking friends are working on living like that too. You are inspiring.
Cheers for reading.
Much love, Ian.
